Is it boring on Mahe island?
- Will we be bored on Mahe island?
1. A sightseeing tour of the island, including the capital city of Victoria, which itself can be taken as a separate landmark and each of its houses studied separately.
2. A trip to Jardin du Roi - the royal garden of spices. A delightful dinner in this unforgettable place, where you will learn a lot about the medicinal properties of herbs and spices that the kings enjoyed.
3. Excursion to the islands of Praslin and La Digue. At the same time, Praslin and La Digue can be divided into 30 different excursions, small and large.
4. For fans of physical activity: hiking in the mountains on Mahe. There are different routes for tourists of different degrees of experience and preparation.
5. Full day excursion to St. Anne Marine Reserve. Snorkeling, swimming, fishing, barbecue, visiting small islands, acquainting oneself with the history of the life of the Seychelles' Robinson Crusoe on the island of Moyenne.
6. Cruise around the southern coast of Mahe: there is a whole series of bays where access is possible only from the ocean.
7. If the accommodation selected is in the south, you can go for a whole day to the beach of Beau Vallon in the northern part of Mahe. And vice versa: trips from the north to one of about 10 beaches in the southern part of Mahe. Many people like it more than the north although for most it's a surprise.
8. You can go to Petit Anse beach at Four Seasons. The beach is wonderful. Photographs of cocktails in the hotel bar against the azure waters blew up the Instagram. :-) In the autumn and winter season we recommend that you publish such photos with extreme caution.
9. A trip to another Marine Reserve where Ephelia resort is located. There, too, you can spend 2 weeks and not get bored.
10. Visiting of Eden island, which is especially convenient to make on the last day, if your departure is in the evening.
Eden is 10 minutes drive from the airport. There are shops, restaurants, a yacht club, a pleasant hotel Eden Bleu, where there is a gym, a spa, and comfortable bed-loungers by the pool. Lying in them, it's nice to watch the yacht-life leisurely and conduct conversations on various topics.
After all this you can fly to Bird Island for a few days. But this will be a completely different story.
