Is it boring in the Seychelles? Part 2. Praslin

The Seychelles by default are considered a classic beach destination. This can alarms active travelers who are accustomed to a more intense vacation.

For example someone who spends 10 days on the beach for a maximum of 2 hours, goes fishing almost directly from the airport and on the day of departure is still surfing 4 hours before the flight.

Below is an example of a leisure program designed for a family with 2 children who did not get bored with the Seychelles. Instead, the islands topped a list of their favorite resorts in the world.

Dates of the trip: arrival on December 26th, departure on  January 04th.

Total: 9 nights (which for a beach holiday initially seemed quite long).

Hotel: Raffles Seychelles 5 *, Praslin Island.

December 26 and January 4 are not taken into consideration, since they are the days of arrival and departure.

31 and 1 number were also questioned: is there any need for additional activity besides celebrating the New Year itself?

If you subtract these 4 days then there are 5 full days left.

1. Full day excursion to the neighboring islands of Praslin - Cousin, Curieuse, St Pierre.

Excursion is carried out on a catamaran as part of a small group. These islands have excellent snorkeling, huge turtles, birds - the children were very interested.

2. On Praslin itself, visit Valle de Mai and the Anse Lazio beach. These are the two main attractions of the island, a must-see.

3. Excursion to the nearby island of La Digue, for the whole day. There is always an option to go independently or in an organized manner with the group.

4. You can spend half a day or a whole day at the Lemuria 5 * resort, visit the spectacular Anse Georgette beach and there are two other beaches on site. Here is the golf course the best in the Seychelles  and one of the most famous in the world for its effectiveness and complexity for the game.

On the territory of Lemuria it is pleasant to walk, it is conceptually different from Raffles. Well, you can compare!

5. There is another version of the trip to the island of Aride, but excursions are not always organized due to weather conditions (there is a strong ebb and the boat cannot always be moored).

So already it turns out that there is no time to sunbathe on the beach, if all these points are implemented. :-)

But we have not considered everything yet.

You can rent a car and drive one day to different places on the island. Theoretically  you can visit the Anse Lazio beach (7 minutes from Raffles), the Valle de Mai, after breakfast, and then go to lunch in Lemuria and then go to Anse Georgette beach. It will turn out like a bit gallop across Europe, but if you start at 9 am, then all this can be done before dinner.

At least one evening meal should be arranged in Cafe des Arts, which has become the legend of Praslin. Or in the hotel restaurant of Archipel.

Dinner at Dhevatara will make any day on Praslin even tastier in all senses. These masterpieces on plates are simply amazing there!

Why not watch football on the big screen of the chillout lounge, try cocktails, dance or just admire the starry sky?

Marlin fishermen are invited to fish in the waters. Some tourists go for such fishing daily.

You can go on a cruise to the neighboring islands of Felicite and Ile Coco.

And much more...

With all this, even Mahe island, about which we wrote here, remains unexplored.

Therefore, simply by counting the days and daily activities - you can be sure that there is no time to miss the Seychelles!
